gah i hate updating twice but,

Japanese got their first gold in figure skating for the olympics!! Yay! I was actually impressed by all the figure skaters when I was watching it. Fumie Suguri impressed me a lot. Her performance looked somehow very beautiful for me... Well, that's becuse of Michelle's post that she made on her xanga. But either way it was beautiful. So was the Irina Slutskaya! For her age, that was awesome! Though I really don't know anything about figure skating, it was impressive.

I have to say though, what I really like about figure skating is that their mistakes are shown in a very humiliating way. The mistakes are so big that it's very inspiring for me. I mean out of all the sports, I feel like figure skating shows the biggest mistakes. How they fall, how they slip, how their choreography isn't that great etc. But it does show me how even how many time you do a mistake, you can always get back on your feet. How to never give up until the end. I wish I could do that for my art- not be afraid of anything and be able to get back on my feet after a mistake. Such a good lesson :)
